Operating Rooms, Preparation Rooms and Scrubs made with TrueSpace prefabrication technology.
The system consists of self supporting modular walls with integrated 2mm lead shielding in the gap between structure and panels. The room finishes were reated using 0.8mm powder coated steel panels bonded to an 18mm plasterboard for maximum fire rating and noise reduction.
The surface is sealed using gaskets inserted in the vertical joints between the panels. An aluminium ceiling profile provides a clean neat finish at high level and a coved floor profile at the base creates a flush, easy to clean joint between surfaces.
Room aesthetics are enhanced using Glazed panels decorated with digital screen printing made of 8mm tempered glass bonded to a 0.8mm galvanized steel backing. Monitors within the facility were installed behind special 8mm tempered glass panels for a completely sealed homogenous surface.
Special pass through windows and fully interlocked powder coated pass through hatches with lead shielded glass leaded glass are also incorporated. All wall mounted services including electrical sockets and medical gases are housed in dedicated full height technical modules for ease of service and modification.
Automatic sliding doors are finished in an aesthetic High Pressure Laminate with built in 2mm led shielding, shielded viewing panels and incorporate movement sensors for safe closing of the door. The facility also includes fully suspended scotch brite finished stainless steel sink units with mixer taps and electronic soap dispensers.
