Michele e Pietro Ferrero hospital - Verduno (Cuneo)

Construction, using Truespace prefabricated technology, of modular walls for the dialysis ward with 24 patient places

State of work: Completed
Date of completion: March 2022

For the new hospital “Michele e Pietro Ferrero” in Verduno, in the province of Cuneo, Operamed used prefabrication technology to create the modular walls for the dialysis unit with 24 patient beds. Operamed installed self-supporting walls able to hold all the technology required to assist diabetic people and give dignity and comfort to dialysed patients, providing at the same time healthcare professionals with an ergonomic and comfortable working area. For the partitions, it was chosen to use walls with finishes in galvanized sheet metal colaminated with antibacterial PVC film. The upper part of each module is customized with a picture used to identify the bed, and in the wall there are the electrical utilities and a bedhead unit with all the gas utilities needed for the connection of the equipment. The inspectable module for the hydraulic connection of the dialysis machine is inserted in the lower part. In addition, partially retractable slots for the separating curtains between adjacent beds are included.
